Proton Saga Colours and Price Guide

The latest to enter the budget sedan market, is the Proton Saga. Competition is stiff in this buying segment and the Proton Saga offers good value. Here's a colours and price guide.

Buying a Car

The Proton Saga is the latest budget vehicle to enter the South African market. Plus, this vehicle is a sedan, a shape that's been dwindling in recent years thanks to the move to SUVs. Apart from the Saga, you also get premium offerings from Proton in the form of the X50 and X70, which my colleague Sean Nurse reviewed.

The Saga nameplate has been around for quite some time in Proton's home country Malaysia and a few other markets to boot. Youthful yet sporty styling is employed but gives an air of practicality too. Powering the Saga range is a 1.3-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine producing 70 kW and 120 Nm. You can have this vehicle in manual or automatic. Inside, you receive a comfortable interior with electric windows, manual air conditioning and a stereo. Also, you get a 4 out of 5 star ASEAN NCAP safety rating. Not bad for a reasonable amount of cash.

If your decision is now firm on a Proton Saga, you can search AutoTrader for the latest used and new offerings. While you're at it, why not try out our Instant Offer tool to sell your car quick and easy?
