The cabin of the Proton X50 uses unique design elements with little touches of fine Malaysian detail. Ultimately, between this and the X70, another flagship SUV from Proton which Sean also had on review, the X50 is the more youthful of the two as it has more of a sportier look to it. The rear seat occupancy space is serviceable and accommodating. Overall, the cabin of the ProtonX50 is quite appealing. The boot space is on the smaller side with 330 litres of luggage capacity but it will suffice.
Ok, but does the Proton X50 have ISOFIX?
Yes indeed! The Proton X50 is fitted with ISOFIX child seat anchor points so your little munchkin can ride in style and safely at that. This further adds to the 5/5 star ASEAN Vehicle Safety rating. In case you didn't know, ISOFIX is a child seat safety system that's used to attach child/baby seats in a car by way of tethers instead of a seatbelt. It's a 3-point attachment system, with two lower points at the base of the seat and one in the centre behind the seat or on top. It's good practice to take your baby seat of choice with you to the dealership to test fit before you buy the car.
