The latest iteration of the Peugeot 208 arrived locally in 2021 and is a stylish option in the hatchback segment. The five-seater comes with a variety of standard safety features, such as road sign recognition, blind-spot monitoring and a lane departure warning system. Furthermore, the model is offered with an intuitive infotainment system too.
Depending on the derivative chosen, customers will either have a 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine under the bonnet or a 1.2-litre, turbocharged, 3-cylinder motor. The most powerful iteration of the latter features with the 208 in GT guise and delivers 96 kW and 230 Nm of torque. This allows the little GT to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 8.8 seconds, sending the power to the front wheels via a 6-speed automatic transmission.
