Hyundai may be very well known for making dependable family cars and SUVs, but they do indeed have a performance division known as N. Much like European manufacturers such as Mercedes, BMW, and Audi, Hyundai makes versions of their everyday cars that have a few extra spice.

With these N-badged cars being a relatively new development for the Korean manufacturer, the N and N line models may not be as well known as AMG, M, and RS, but as we know, South Africans just love sportier versions of models.

The December figures published by NAAMSA, lists the Hyundai Tucson as the 4th most popular mid-size family SUV behind the Volkswagen Tiguan, Chery Tiggo 8 and Haval H6. With consumers voting with their wallets, it is safe to say that the Tucson is a popular choice.
