Looking for a feature-filled, reliable family SUV that looks stylish, performs well, and competes with much more expensive cars? The Tucson, in N Line trim (click for our 2023 review), is a bit more special than the rest of the Tucson lineup. Here's what you need to know.
1. It has a more sporty design and premium features
The N Line model sets itself apart with a sporty and stylish design, including new bumpers, a distinctive grille, N Line badging, and larger 19-inch wheels with two pairs of stunning alloy wheels.

The interior features a combination of suede and leather sports seats with red accents, metal pedals, and a host of premium features such as *adaptive cruise control, a lane watchdog, an electric tailgate, heated and ventilated seats, a large display, and a wireless charging pad. 2. It's all-wheel-drive system imparts off-road capabilities
The N Line model is equipped with all-wheel drive and selectable off-road modes, making it well-suited for off-the-beaten-path adventures, but it's more of a soft-roader, really. During our test drive on a wet and muddy route, the all-wheel-drive system provided enhanced grip and traction. It's the only AWD model in the lineup. (And here are the correct tyre pressures)
3. It offers good value
Priced at R815 900, the N Line model sits at the top of the Tucson range, but we think its upmarket styling and interior and all-wheel-drivetrain are worth the extra money. Plus, you'll save plenty on diesel.

Verdict
Whether you're drawn to its stylish aesthetics, off-road capabilities, or upmarket and sporty interior, the N Line makes for a great, frugal, family vehicle. This writer loves it!
