The Porsche Panamera presents those looking for something slightly different from the standard executive saloon car with something a bit different. The recently updated version of the Panamera now features updated powertrains, revised styling and better performance than before.
Since the Panamera is a premium German product, the options list is exceptionally long and can have you paying over R1-million in options without much effort. We have therefore decided to choose 9 options that we feel will enhance the Panamera while not nearly doubling its price tag.

1.Special colours- R81 320- The Panamera is available in twelve exterior colours that are a no-cost option, however, there are five special colours that look particularly appealing. While not exactly cheap, having your Panamera finished in GT Silver Metallic, Papaya Metallic, Carmine Red, Amethyst Metallic or Crayon will certainly allow you to stand-out from the bunch.
2.SportDesign wheels painted in exterior colour- R92 370- Porsche now offer three sets of alloy wheels that are painted to match the Panamera’s bodywork. The Exclusive Design, the SportDesign and the Exclusive Design sport wheels all measure 21 inches, however, it is the cheaper SportDesign items that we’d choose over the two Exclusive.
3.Two-tone interior leather- R97 650- A two-tone interior is befitting of an executive-style vehicle. There are several colour options, however, we have selected the Black/Crayon interior to match our exterior.
4.Panoramic roof- R48 150- The large, electrically operated two-panel glass panoramic roof option is tinted, while the front portion can be opened or closed. There is also a retractable blind that covers the entire glass section.
5.SportDesign package-R94 940- This body kit option adds a new front apron with gloss back air intakes and blades finished in the exterior colour. It also includes new body-coloured side skirts as well as a new rear apron with a gloss black diffuser while the number plate holder is also finished in the body colour.
6.Sport Chrono Package- R43 000- This is a must-have for Porsche products. It adds a digital and analogue stopwatch, a driving mode switch on the steering wheel as well as a launch control programme.
7.Sports exhaust system- R77 260- The sports exhaust system gives the Panamera a meatier soundtrack while allowing you to choose between silver or black tailpipes.
8.ParkAssist with Surround View- R32 080- Since the Panamera is a large vehicle, a parking assistance system may be necessary. This includes a 360-degree view of your surroundings, making parking easier.
9.Bose sound system- R32 390- With 14 speakers, a subwoofer and an output of 710 watts, this system is sure to please the audiophiles out there.
