City chic

Toyota's C-HR crossover may not be to everyones tastes, it has a quirky design and odd styling lines that rival those of the Nissan Juke. Should you choose to buy a C-HR and take one out on a test drive, we highly advise checking out these features as they may sway your purchase decision either way.

Audio System

Toyota's infotainment systems are visually appealing pieces of kit. The user interface may lack a few analog buttons but as far as the screen layout and options go it provides an excellent user experience and it sounds good too. No news on whether Apple car Play or Android Auto will be making an appearance in future versions though.

Seats

The C-HR has some of the most comfortable seats a crossover can have. In the higher spec models these can come in leather and have multi way electric adjustment. Well suited for long road trips and well designed for every day use the seats in the C-HR are a big deal.

Reverse Camera

Unfortunately rearward visibility in the C-HR is rather limited due to a very small rear window and obstruction from the rear seat headrests. The reverse camera is welcome addition and makes manoeuvring and parking a breeze and the resolution on the infotainment screen is excellent!. Make sure your C-HR has this fitted.

1.2 Turbo engine and CVT powertrain

The heart of the C-HR is a 1.2 litre turbo charged engine mated to a CVT transmission. This makes for quite an invigorating drive with the engine delivering the perfect amount of power to move the C-HR around town. The CVT may not be to everyones tastes but in the C-HR it is perfectly sized making a brilliant power combination that is fuel efficient and a breeze to drive.

Safety Systems

The C-HR is super safe. Sporting 7 airbags, the interior of the C-HR is the safest place to be in the event of an accident. Driver and passenger airbags, seat, roof curtain and a drivers knee airbag ensure that you will avoid the worst of an impact. The are also a great deal of electronic safety systems and driver aids to keep a look out for.
