Forward automatic emergency braking
Forward Emergency Braking works in conjunction with the Front Collision Warning system to apply the brakes in the event of an imminent accident. The system does this without any input from you if it detects a frontal collision using data inputs from front sensors.

Lane departure warning
The driver assistance system will alert you with a visual and audio cue if you begin to stray out of your chosen lane. The system will also apply force feedback to the steering wheel to get you to return to your lane and will do this if you change lanes without indicating.

Six Airbags
Among the multitude of built-in safety systems the MINI Countryman is equipped with 6 airbags. Two front bags for driver and passenger, two front side impact bags for driver and passenger and two curtain side-impact bags for all occupants.
