Arriving just months after the brand’s official local entry, the Apex Plus is designed to sit at the top of the E5 hierarchy, offering a significant range boost for South African drivers looking to ditch the fuel pumps for good.
Bigger battery
While the existing E5 Aspire and Apex models utilise a 60.22 kWh battery, the Apex Plus gets a 68.39 kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) unit. This larger pack extends the WLTP combined driving range to a claimed 450 km, up from the 410 km found in the standard Apex.
The larger battery adds weight (curb weight 1815 kg), the front-mounted motor delivers the same 160 kW and 320 Nm of torque. This allows the Apex Plus to sprint from 0–100 km/h in a claimed 7.6 seconds, while maintaining a top speed of 175 km/h.

Tech and Interior
The Apex Plus carries over the same interior from Geely’s new generation of SUVs. The cabin is dominated by a 15.4-inch touchscreen and a 10.2-inch digital driver display.

Safety and charging
Safety is handled by an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) suite, featuring Adaptive Cruise Control, Autonomous Emergency Braking, and Lane Keeping Assist.
The Apex Plus supports 100 kW DC fast charging, allowing a 30% to 80% charge in roughly 20 minutes. For home charging, an 11 kW AC onboard charger is standard, with a full charge taking approximately 7 hours.
