Is Geely good for families?

Chinese brand Geely is out of the mainstream locally but does that mean that its products are not suited for families?

At the time of writing, the brand's local website was still functional but appeared to be outdated, with content from as far back as 2012. We are certain that you cannot buy a new Geely locally in 2022, and the eight pre-owned Geely models listed for sale on AutoTrader is not a significant number. Therefore, we would not recommend a Geely product for families until the brand re-enters the market with fresh products, with brands like Chery and GWM being good examples of successful re-entries into the South African automotive scene.
