Largest Team Ever at Dakar Rally
TGR is set to field its largest team yet at Dakar 2024, with five crews in the lineup. The team boasts a mix of experience, led by Giniel de Villiers, and rookies Lucas Moraes and Seth Quintero.

Unveiling the GR IMT Hilux EVO T1U
New design
The GR IMT Hilux EVO T1U boasts a broader profile and revised suspension, improved air conditioning efficiency, and a new cooling package. The aesthetics are more pronounced with the new-for-2024 black livery that the cars are finished in.
Testing
TGR's crews completed nearly 30 000km of racing and testing in the 2023 W2RC and SARRC seasons. Areas which included the Kalahari and Namib Deserts ensure the team is prepared
Embracing Biofuel Technology
The TGR Dakar Team will use a newly-developed biofuel to meet sustainability targets ahead of the 2026 deadline.
Dakar 2024 overview
The Dakar 2024 starts on January 5th with a prologue near Alula, followed by six demanding stages, including a unique '48-hour Chrono' stage. The rally concludes on January 19th in Yanbu.
