Fuel price relief confirmed for November!

The AA has confirmed the expected fuel price relief for November 2023; here's how much less you'll be paying.

South Africans can expect a sizable decrease in the price of fuel in November. The Department of Mineral Resources and Energy (DMRE) is said to officially announce fuel adjustments for November in the coming days, with the Automobile Association (AA) claiming unaudited data from the Central Energy Fund (CEF) pointing to decreases in petrol of up to R2 per litre and a decrease of around R1 per litre for diesel!

More specifically, according to current predictions, ULP95 is expected to decrease by around R2.01 per litre and ULP93 by R1.96 per litre. Diesel is then expected to be lowered by R1.08 per litre. The drop in pricing comes as a result of a decrease in international oil prices, with a weak Rand unfortunately reducing what could have been an ever more substantial decrease!
