Audi's luxury small hatch, the A1 is a fantastic entry into the brand's lineup. With a number of high tech fitments, it is imperative that the vehicle's battery operate at its optimum. If the tech begins to malfunction, you may need to replace the battery.

When the battery needs to be replaced, we can show you how it's done with a few simple tools in just a few minutes.

 

 

You will need:

  • 12mm wrench
  • 13mm wrench

 

 

Let's get it done:

 

1. Open the boot

 

2. Remove the floor cover

 

3. Remove organiser

 

4. Remove the spear wheel / battery hold down bracket

 

5. Use 13mm to remove the negative (-) battery terminal

 

6. Use 12mm to remove positive (+) battery terminal

 

7. Exchange battery

 

8. Assemble in reverse order
