The Ferrari Amalfi is said to cater to those looking for a supercar that can be used daily.
Design
Maranello’s design team, led by Flavio Manzoni, designed the Amalfi with a fluid and minimalist approach. The exterior boasts sculpted volumes and clean surfaces. Up front, a large air intake and a long, sculpted bonnet house the twin-turbo V8 engine. The rear features an integrated active spoiler for high-speed stability, forged wheels, and carbon fibre details. The launch colour is Verde Costiera, and it is teal green.
Interior
Inside, the Amalfi adopts a dual-cockpit layout. There's a new steering wheel with physical buttons and the welcome return of the start button, providing a more tactile and engaging experience. An integrated central display and ergonomic controls are said to provide intuitive interaction. There's an extensive use of carbon fibre and contrasting stitching throughout the cabin. The new model features a 2+ configuration, meaning there are rear seat, which are likely only big enough to accommodate children.
Drivetrain
The brand's F154 twin-turbo V8 powers the Amalfi. This powerhouse delivers 470kW thanks to new turbocharging calibrations. Efforts to reduce mass, including new lightweight camshafts and a redesigned engine block, contribute to the engine's power gains versus the Roma. Introducing a low-viscosity oil also improves warm-up efficiency, a practical benefit for our diverse climate. Paired with the brand's eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, performance figures are as follows:
0–100 km/h in 3.3 seconds
0–200 km/h in 9.0 seconds
New tech
The Amalfi features a brake-by-wire system, an ‘ABS Evo’ controller for all surfaces, and a recalibrated steering box for more precise and progressive response. Active aerodynamics, featuring a new integrated rear mobile wing, ensure stability across all driving conditions and Manettino positions, maximising dynamic performance.
Infotainment
The infotainment system offers full connectivity with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard, along with wireless smartphone charging. The new steering wheel, digital instrument cluster, and a 10.25-inch horizontal central display create an advanced human-machine interface designed to engage both driver and passenger. An optional front lifter system works up to 35 km/h while raising the car by up to 40 mm. There is also an optional Burmester premium audio system.
7-Year Maintenance Plan
As with all models in the Ferrari range, the Amalfi gets Ferrari's extensive seven-year Genuine Maintenance programme. Order books are open ahead of the vehicle's local introduction.
