What’s it like to drive?

Reviewer's opinion

I thoroughly enjoyed my time with the Renault Clio GT-Line, appreciating its simple, but energetic approach to the segment. It's the sporty looking car without the harsh ride, exorbitant fuel consumption and impracticality and rather delivers a sensible approach for those who still want to be seen and respected.

Interior

What is the Renault Clio like inside?

Interior styling is very race-inspired with a leather-clad steering wheel, handbrake gator, and gear knob. Colour-coded stitching on the seats with embroidery also adds a level of sportiness that you won't find in its competitors.

Style

The Clio may be an entry-level hatch but it carries a lot of the race-inspired styling that has trickled down from its performance brethren out of the RS stable. Aggressive front and rear bumpers coupled with a sporty lighting arrangement gives the Clio the appearance of speed.

Tech features

  • 9.3" touchscreen
  • Apple Car Play / Android Auto
  • Configurable TFT instrument cluster
  • Automated parking
  • Surround-view camera
