What is Isofix?
Isofix is safety system used to attach child or baby seats in a car, using tethers instead of a seatbelt. It consists of a 3 points attachment, two lower attachment points near the seatbelts plugs, and one attachment in the centre of the other side (behind the seat) or on top of it.
Verdict
The short answer is "yes", the Corolla Cross is fitted with Isofix - there are two sets of points on the outer rear seats. This means two Isofix seats can be installed. It's also really easy to install a car seat as the points (or hooks) at the bottom are easy to get a hold of. There are slits in the material (or leather) that you pull apart to gain access to the hooks (see the image above and below).
