If we take a look at the large SUV, bakkie, and MPV segments we can see that there are a number of new vehicles that are coming for the 2022 model year and many are going to be brand new, from the ground up, constructions.

Kia has just released the new Sorento and Carnival models for the 2022 model year and as we found they really have stepped up their game in terms of fit, finish, and the sheer amount of tech that has been crammed into these new vehicles.

Ford will be introducing its new Ranger and Everest models during the course of the year and from what we have seen they promise to be a massive advancement on the outgoing model.

Hyundai released the Palisade and Staria at the end of 2021 and initial sales figures are very promising with the Korean brand barely keeping up with supply.

Fans of Volkswagen can look forward to a brand new Caddy and Amarok

For those who are after a slightly more electrifying experience, BMW has just introduced the iX range and we will soon see the i4 and iX3 arriving while Mercedes have just unveiled the EQ range and the Audi e-Tron range has also just begun arriving.

Lexus has a few new models with the new LX model taking pride of place.

Jeep will be bringing the new Grand Cherokee model.

Chinese carmaker, Chery has blown the roof of the local market with their well-priced and well-specced Tiggo range and the new Pro 8 seems certain to continue that trend.
