The last time BMW gave the 6 Series an update was in 2017, however, the German automaker recently unveiled a new model which should hit the showroom floors soon. If you just can't wait for the new model and want to take advantage of a used model or already own a 6 Series and just want to spruce it up, why not consider retrofitting one or more items off the long list of available accessories?

The last time local dealerships offered 6 Series models, it came in GT guise which took shape as a 4-door liftback with coupe-like styling. Before that customers could opt for the F12 convertible, F13 coupé, F06 Gran Coupé and if speed was what they were looking for the F12/F13/06 M6. Now though, if you are in the market for anything similar but new, BMW recently introduced the 8 Series Coupé and Gran Coupé models.
Wheels
One of the most noticeable features on the exterior of your car is the wheels, and even though the standard wheels on 6 Series was nothing to be embarrassed about, a new set will give your BMW an updated look. BMW offers a variety of alloy wheel designs, all of which come in 20-inch specification.
There are a variety of styles to choose from, for a more dramatic look the multi-spoke 410 style will be ideal whereas the star-spoke 311 style falls into the bling category. For customers looking for more of a performance theme the cross-spoke 312 style will be better, however, the V-spoke style 281 wheels will give a modern look and feel.
Child seats
For customers starting families, a great accessory to consider is the BMW branded child seats. BMW offers a variety of sizes and specifications suitable for children aged 0 to 12 years. Not only are the seats stylish but specifically developed for BMW vehicles which will provide occupants with the highest standard of safety.
Incorporated are airpads for the head area as well as shoulder and hip protection surfaces. The seats are offered in either a black and blue colour combination or black and anthracite finish.
Comfort travel system
The system in question is a clever mounting base which fits between the front seat, headrest bars. This base allows the owner to easily mount accessories such as a folding table for the rear occupant, a clothes hanger and universal hooks to hang items on. The system also allows for Apple and Samsung tablet holders to be mounted which could assist in entertaining your child or rear occupant on short or long journeys.
