Harvest time is one of the most important times of the year. Get connected

The S Series offers the latest in connectivity thanks to JDLink.  JDLink is a wireless connection that enables your machine to stream data to the John Deere Operations Center so that you can monitor its performance from anywhere, and anytime. Whether from a desktop or mobile device, operators can view the machine and crop information, plus share it with your prefered advisors.

Customers can even improve on gathered analytics with Combine Advisor. Maintain the performance settings that you have chosen, no matter what the moisture or crop conditions are. The program allows you to set it and leave it as your combine will continue to make adjustments while you harvest.

It has tracks

We have covered the topic relating to the advantages of tracks extensively, thankfully the S Series Harvester is available with tracks. They allow for transport speeds of up to 40km/h. They are also available in 30 or 36 inch belts and deliver a smooth ride quality with improved flotation and reduced compaction, when compared with wheels.

Transmission

The S Series has a transmission to match its impressive technology. It features the latest ProDrive Transmission system. This system allows for even easier shifts between two speed ranges, which enables precise control. Operators can set one range to transport and the other to harvest for efficient field work.

Trusted Power

The 13.5-litre PowerTech PSS motor has been built to the highest standards, the engine delivers its optimal power plus low-speed torque while remaining responsive enough to meet varying harvest conditions. The motor develops around 353kW with a power boost of up-to 37kW.

More efficient harvesting power

The S Series makes use of two new developments. Each has been designed for performance in coarse grain crops. The S Series uses the TriStream rotor system and the Dyna-Flo Plus cleaning shoe which efficiently threshes and cleans grain in tough harvesting conditions. The TriStream rotor helps maximize fuel efficiency with technology that reduces the force required to move material through the combine by as much as 20 percent. High capacity starts at the feeder house, where the S Series provides large areas of clearance for high volumes of crop to flow uninterrupted.

Cab Comfort

When your harvest days turn into weeks, you need a comfortable cab with excellent visibility to keep you running. The S Series Combine offers more convenience from the cab with platform tilt, precision residue, and easy crop changeover when it’s time to move fields. Whatever the harvest season throws at you, you can keep moving with the touch of a button.

A stand out feature is indeed the added storage. The S Series has been given extra storage space, for provisions so as to help you pass the time in comfort. The integrated refrigerator will also keep your food and drinks cold all day. Furthermore, this updated harvester now features improved Bluetooth speakers that deliver better mobile device functionality, keeping your hands free and focusing on harvesting.
