1. Terra control at your fingertips

With the CORUS 500, functions such as AutoLevel header control, automatic cutting height control, ground pressure control and return to cut can now all be controlled from the driver's seat. Consequently, this guarantees optimal header guidance, even for larger header widths. This intuitive operation provides a high level of comfort and provides relief, ensuring fatigue-free work.

2. A threshing unit you can rely on

The heart of the Fendt CORUS 500 is the threshing unit, which has several highlights. These include, for example, the optional sectional concave for a quick change between different crops. There is also a Multi Crop Separator, which provides higher throughput in difficult conditions and ensures a better separation. A high inertia threshing drum of 600mm in diameter further compliments the threshing unit.

3. An engine for your needs

The Fendt CORUS 500 covers the power range of straw walker combine harvesters from 137kW to 193kW. The 4.9 L displacement, 4-cylinder AGCO Power engine powers the Fendt CORUS 518. The Fendt CORUS 522 and 526 models are equipped with a 7.4 L displacement, 6-cylinder AGCO Power engine. The engine's flat torque curve as well as its smooth running and high fuel efficiency are worthy of mention.

4. Improved traction drive

The CORUS series is equipped with a new electro hydrostatic driven ground drive. The final drives and the transmission, based on three gears, is completely manufactured by AGCO. The new 100 CC hydrostatic pump is controlled electrically and grants seamless control in every working condition and road transition.

5. Enhanced freeflow headers

The FreeFlow header is available with a cutting width of 4.80 m to 7.60 m. It is equipped with a Schumacher cutter bar with an outstanding 1,254 cuts per minute. The feed auger of the FreeFlow header is equipped with movable fingers across the entire working width. These ensure a continuous crop flow.

6. Updated separation and cleaning

With the largest cleaning area in its performance class, it offers maximum cleaning performance under all conditions. The CORUS makes use of a new innovative grain pan which improves the cleaning properties. The new grain pan is modular and can be equipped with removable plastic inserts. These increase versatility and make cleaning much easier when working in difficult conditions and in crops such as soybeans and corn.

7. How much grain will it store?

The CORUS 518 and 522 models are equipped with a grain tank with a capacity of 5200l and a discharge rate of 72l/s. In the CORUS 526 model, the capacity is 6500l with a speed of 85l/s.

 8. Cabin comfort

The Fendt CORUS 500 has a new comfortable cab for long harvest days. The multifunction joystick is used to operate various functions such as the speed, the cutter bar or the discharge tube. For ergonomic work, this joystick is directly connected to the armrest. The on-board computer and two optional cameras provide an optimal overview of the machine. The large panoramic windscreen and new working lights at the front of the combine ensure the ideal visibility.
