6 Things you need to know about the all-new Fendt 700 Vario Gen7
With the demand for more powerful, more efficient and even more feature-packed tractors on the rise, manufacturers are hard at work developing and designing what the modern farmer requires. Fendt has just introduced its latest Fendt 700 Vario Gen7 which features a modern power plant, a new design and a host of new technologies. Here are 6 things that you need to know.
1. The cabin
Tractor operators spend a lot of time in the cabin which has been designed to offer a feel-good environment. The spacious cabin comes with a continuous field of vision of 77° and numerous details, such as the large cooling and warm box, an additional windscreen wiper on the right side, a powerful air conditioning system and numerous storage compartments. The latest Vario 700 also features a new premium driver's seat including massage function which makes those long days in the saddle easier to handle.
2. Performance
The Fendt 700 Vario Gen7 sets new standards in driving dynamics. The powerful engine develops 221kW maximum output which results in a power-to-weight ratio of 30.5kg. If desired, the VarioDrive powertrain accelerates the Fendt 700 Vario up to 60 km/h. This allows operators to effortlessly and fuel-efficiently master transport tasks that require agility, speed and high payloads. In the top model Fendt 728 Vario Gen7, an additional performance of up to 15kW is available regardless of the driving speed.
3. Better cooling
The concentric, forced-air fan which has been fitted to the Vario 700 has an independent, hydrostatic drive. Its extremely small design allows a large steering angle and is thus responsible for the outstanding manoeuvrability of the Fendt 700 Vario Gen7. With up to 40% less drive power compared to a standard fan, it is also enormously efficient, saving fuel.
4. High-performance hydraulics
The Fendt 700 Vario Gen7 can be individually equipped according to your needs. For example, with a high-performance load-sensing pump with an oil delivery rate of up to 220 l/min. The modular coupling system gives you the choice between UDK, DUDK and flat-sealing FFC couplings in the front and rear.
5. Loading made easy
Need to load grains or other materials? The Fendt Vario 700 offers a powerful solution. Attach the Fendt Cargo 6.100A loader with its 2.55m bucket and you will have a maximum lifting capacity of 4070kg and a lifting height of 4.85m. The Loader has its own valve block with separate front loader valves, a new multi-coupler and working lights on the loader frame.
6. Safety
With smart assistance systems such as Fendt Stability Control, increased comfort and improved safety are guaranteed. The system automatically reduces side lean at driving speeds above 20 km/h and actively suppresses roll when cornering.
