Unlike traditional diesel tractors, the MK-V runs entirely on electric power, producing no exhaust fumes or carbon emissions.

But what truly sets it apart is its autonomy. A driver can operate the MK-V or run completely autonomously, carrying out repetitive tasks such as mowing, spraying, or tilling while the farmer monitors progress remotely. Using a suite of cameras, sensors, and artificial intelligence, it navigates fields, detects obstacles, and performs tasks with precision, even in complex environments like vineyards or orchards.

The company envisions a future where one operator can manage multiple tractors simultaneously from a digital platform, overseeing progress in real-time while letting the machines handle manual labour. This shift could help solve one of agriculture’s most persistent problems — the growing shortage of skilled farm operators.

Power and Performance Without Emissions

The Monarch MK-V is a powerful demonstration of how clean technology can meet the demanding requirements of farm life. Its electric drivetrain provides instant torque and a quiet, vibration-free ride, reducing fatigue for both operators and livestock. On a full charge, it can operate for up to 14 hours, depending on the task, with recharging taking approximately five to six hours using a standard 80-amp charger.

In addition to its environmental benefits, the electric system also simplifies maintenance. There’s no need for oil changes, exhaust filters, or fuel storage, which helps lower long-term operating costs. For farms generating renewable energy through solar or wind systems, charging the tractor with on-site power further reduces running costs and emissions, creating a circular, sustainable energy ecosystem.

Every Monarch MK-V is equipped with built-in connectivity and the company’s digital management platform, WingspanAI. This technology enables farmers to remotely track and control their tractors, collect operational data, and analyse field conditions.
