Song of the sedan

The Hyundai Sonata was an elegant sedan that competed with the likes of the Volkswagen Jetta and Ford Fuzion in a segment which was largely on its way out, It is rather unfortunate that almost all of these executive sedans are no more.  In late 2015 the Sonata was dropped from local sale in South Africa.

The Sonata was sold with a five-year/150 000 km manufacturer’s warranty, a 5 year or 150 000 km roadside assistance and a 5 year / 90 000 km service plan. That means as of the end of 2020 the warranty and other plans have all expired.
