Vitz it all about
In 2023, Toyota released its budget city hatchback to a great reception. The Vitz stands on equal ground with Suzuki's Celerio and offers a lot of features for not much money, and on top of that, the fuel savings are incredible, as the Vitz has a very low city fuel consumption. With the vit being rather new, you should not have to worry about this type of maintenance, but with the view that these types of questions may be asked further down the line, we want to know if the avid DIY'er would be able to change their own battery.

- 10mm wrench
- 13mm socket + extension and driver

Let's get it done
1. Open the bonnet
2. Locate the battery
3. Use the 10mm wrench to remove the negative battery terminal
4. Use the 10mm wrench to remove the positive terminal
5. Use the 13mm socket to remove the battery hold-down bracket
6. Remove the battery
7. Install new battery
8. Assemble in reverse order
