Changing a car battery is relatively straight forward and can be done in just a few minutes with minimal tools.

We show you how it's done in a few easy steps

You will need:

New battery of correct amperage and size
12mm, 13mm sockets and driver

Let's get started!

1. Open the bonnet

2. Using the correct socket size (12mm), remove the negative terminal.

3. Remove the positive terminal.

4. Using the bigger socket(13mm), remove the hold down bracket.

5. Change out battery and replace everything in reverse order
