Powering up the Xpander
A new car battery has an average lifespan of roughly 3-4 years, after this time period it will begin the degrade, and you may find certain functionality of the electronics in your car begin working intermittently. When this occurs you will need to replace your battery, and you can save yourself a few brands and tackle to job yourself.

Changing the battery is relatively easy, and we can show you how it's done in a step-by-step tutorial below
You will need:
- New replacement battery for your model (correct amperage)
- 12mm spanner, 13mm socket and wrench
Let's get started!
1. Open the bonnet
2. Locate the battery.
3. Remove the negative terminal using the 12mm spanner
4. Remove the positive terminal using the 12mm
5. Use 13mm socket and wrench, remove the hold-down bracket
6. Exchange battery
7. Assemble in reverse order.
