How to replace a lightbulb on a Lexus ES

The Lexus ES is the ultimate left field option for those looking for a luxury sedan that will set you apart from the crowd. The ES has gone through 7 generations and the latest model has LED lighting as standard fitment. If you have one of the older models and you find that one of your headlights is no longer working, you will need to replace it.

Replacing the H11 headlight bulbs is a very easy bit of DIY maintenance that you can tackle right at home with no tools needed, and we can show you how it's done.

 

 

You will need:

  • Replacement H11 bulbs 
  • Soft cloth

 

 

Let's get it done

 

1. Open the bonnet

 

2. Locate the back of the headlight cluster in the engine bay.

 

3. Locate the wiring plug on the bulb 

 

4. Remove the connector plug from the bulb.

 

6. Twist to remove bulb

 

7. Replace the bulb 

 

 

8. Assemble in reverse order
