Exchanging the windshield wipers on a any Volvo car is a simple task that can be done in a matter of minutes with no tools required.
You will need:
- Replacement wiper blades (these are Volvo specific and may only be available from a Volvo dealer in some areas)
- Soft cloth
Let's get it done:
1. Start on the drivers side, Lift the wiper arm slightly. (Note: The drivers side wiper blade is longer than the passenger side.)
2. Depress the small button on the wiper blade and pull.
3. Wipe down the base of the windscreen to remove debris.
4. Insert the new blade and push until it clicks into place.
5. Repeat on the passenger side and then test the system with water.
