The Mercedes-Benz SL roadster is as seasonal as the weather being very popular in the summer months when top down motoring is enjoyable. Wether your rain occurs during the summer or winter months you are going to want to change yours before the monsoon starts to ensure that your view of the road is as clear as can be.

The wiper blades will need to be changed every year to keep them working at their best. You can save yourself a few rand by getting your hands dirty and tackling the exchange yourself by following our tutorial below.

 

You will need:

  • Replacement wiper blades for your model
  • Soft cloth

  

Let's get it done

 

1. Start on the drivers side as this is the longer of the two blades

 

2. Lift the blade up and depress the clip from both sides

 

3. Pull the blade upwards away from the holder

 

4. Replace the new blade in reverse operation

 

5. Make sure clip is secure

 

6. Repeat on passenger side

 

7. Test to ensure smooth operation
