How to change wiper blades on a Bentley Bentayga

We take you through the process of replacing the wiper blades on the uber-luxurious Bentley Bentayga SUV.

A short lifespan

The windscreen wipers on all cars are made of steel and rubber, the latter being the item that clears your windscreen of debris and moisture. Since rubber perishes when exposed to the elements, it is recommended that wiper blades be replace every two years, or when you note a decrease in their efficacy.

It is a very straightforward task on the Bentayga and can be completed in a few minutes with no tools required.

You will need:

New wiper blades that are of the correct size for the year and model of vehicle (Driver’s side is longer than passenger side)

Microfibre cloth

Let's do it!

  1. You will need to get the wipers into the service position using the vehicle service menu in the vehicle’s infotainment system.
  2. Lift the wiper arm up.
  3. Push or pull the retaining clip upwards to release the old blade.
  4. Remove the old blade.
  5. Insert the new blade and push/pull until you hear it click into place.
  6. Repeat on opposite side.
  7. Test system to ensure everything works properly.
