Rock solid service

The Volkswagen Amarok has led the premium double cab market segment for as long as it's been on sale. Having a double cab bakkie that is not only functional but has a premium interior and tech features that align it with many of the German manufacturer's other vehicles.

With the Amarok being one of the few bakkies that run a powerful 3.0 V6 turbo engine it makes sense that these vehicles need regular maintenance. Whether you have the 2.0 BiTurbo or the 3.0 V6, these vehicles have the same warranty, service, and optional maintenance plans that will keep your double cab running smoothly. We checked the owner's manual to see what the recommended service interval for the Amarok is and how often you will need to take your bakkie in.

The Volkswagen Amarok in either 2.0 BiTurbo or 3.0 V6 guise comes with 3 year / 100 000km warranty, attached to that is a 5-year / 90 000km service plan and an optional 5-year / 90 000km maintenance plan. Volkswagen recommends that you service the Amarok every 15 000km or once a year.
