When one speaks about the reliability of Toyota it is not only down to the solid engineering and build quality but also how the owners take of them with there even being reports of some Corolla models reaching 1 Million km's traveled. If you want your Corolla to do the same, it needs to be serviced on time and properly by trained professionals, but how often should your Corolla be serviced?

Service time

A long-held industry-accepted norm for services is 2 years or 12 000km whichever comes first. Toyota offers a 6-service over 90 000km service plan but requires a service interval of only 15 000 km's.

Industry numbers report that the average motorist is doing between 12 and 18 000km a year so that means that your Corolla should be serviced at least once a year or more if you travel greater distances.
