The Urban Cruiser nameplate first arrived in South Africa in 2021 and has since grown to be a very popular model in the Toyota line-up. Recently, the Japanese automaker introduced a brand new replacement for the crossover model to continue on the successful recipe, however, that doesn't mean that the previous generation cannot be spruced up a bit.

So before you sell your car easily and quickly with our Instant Offer tool here, start your search for new or used Toyota Urban Cruiser models on AutoTrader here. Here are a few extras you should consider retrofitting to your current Urban Cruiser to bolster the styling and practicality.

Toyota Urban Cruiser extras

1. Bumper garnish

Some of the earlier and lower specification derivatives of the Toyota Urban Cruiser came with black and body-colour bumpers. This accessory will add some shine to the front of the car and give it a more premium look.

2. Side skirt

To match the front and rear bumper garnishes, Toyota also offers customers the silver side skirting for the Urban Cruiser. This will tie the front and rear together and create some contrast on the side of the vehicle.

3. Rear bumper garnish

Like with the front bumper garnish, owners of slightly lower specified derivatives or earlier variants that didn't have the silver garnishing at the rear, can optionally have it fitted to create more contrast while giving the Urban Cruiser a bit more premium look.

4. Roof spoiler

Because of the slight slope in the tailgate of most crossover models, the car sometimes looks like it has a humpback. With the roof spoiler, not only does it finish off the roofline in a more appealing fashion but also adds a bit of sportiness to the vehicle's character.

5. Tow bar

Adding a tow bar can have many benefits. You can tow a small trailer on your next adventure or even take your jetski to the dam. Some bicycle racks require a tow bar to be fitted to the car. A tow bar would be a nice practical addition to your Urban Cruiser.
