3 Audi Q2 accessories you didn’t know you needed.

We list three accessories you didn't know you needed for your Audi Q2 compact SUV.

Car Ownership

The Audi first launched the Q2 compact SUV locally in 2017 which shares the same MQB platform as found in the A1 and A3 model ranges. More recently Audi introduced a refreshed Q2 range which is offered in three trim lines. All the derivatives come fitted with the same 1.4-litre, turbocharged, 4-cylinder petrol engine producing 110 kW and 250 Nm of torque.

Customers of the latest model can expect items such as LED headlights, automatic air-conditioning, cruise control, a leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel, rear parking aid and a start/stop system with regenerative braking as standard equipment. However, there are a few optional items you might want to consider for the earlier models, as well as the latest iteration.

1. iPhone Wireless Charger

Taking shape as a phone housing, the item allows your earlier iPhones which are not wireless charging compatible to gain this feature. Not only does it allow your iPhone to be charged on all Qi-wireless charging stations, but it also doubles as a quality cover to protect your phone from knocks and bumps.

2. Camping tent

If you are planning on exploring South Africa, you might want to consider the next accessory. Audi has created a three-man inflatable tent that attaches to the rear of the vehicle for easy access to the luggage compartment. It is constructed with double-walled air struts which can be quickly and easily inflated with the included pump. Also included are a bag, tent pegs, repair kit and two separate awnings.

3. Roof box

What happens when you run out of luggage space on your travels? Why not consider the stylish roof box? The roof box is fitted to the vehicle via carrier bars (optionally available) and can be accessed from both sides of the car. The box can also be securely locked to keep wandering hands at bay.
