British pride

It was love at first drive when I took the Jaguar F Pace on test a few years back. The F Pace is a stunning vehicle with an options list as long as my left arm. With such an eye watering choice available it may be hard to decide which model will offer you the best value on return when it comes time to trade in.

Let's take a look at the Jaguar models available from SA dealers, how much they retail for new and then on AutoTrader, second hand, so that we can see what the overall price drop is per range.

Verdict:

As you can see, the Jaguar F Pace seems to hold its value quite well with an average depreciation of about 10% across the range over a two-year period. The petrol engined models seem to have the worst value retention and that can be largely attributed to the cost of fuel these days.

With very few second hand models available it can be assumed that the 25t range sold the fewest models originally, with the majority of specimens found online in second hand form coming from the 30d variant and maintaining their value for a number of years.

It would then be safe to say that it isn't really a trim option that will cost you on your trade in down the line, but rather the engine option you choose to go with.
