Verdict
We can’t tell you whether you should get a diesel or a petrol. The choice of engine ultimately depends on your monthly running of a car. We can, however, say the 1.0-litre EcoBoost does have the best figures here and the variants powered by this engine are specced well. Also, a petrol vehicle offers a smoother driving experience than a diesel variant. If on average you’re travelling more than 1500km a month then consider the diesel variant in terms of fuel efficiency.
