Where is the Ford Ranger made?
The latest fifth-generation Ford Ranger is manufactured in a variety of locations. Firstly, after an R15.8 billion investment in retooling and upgrading the plant, Ford is manufacturing the Ranger at the Silverton plant in Pretoria, South Africa. Together with a plant in Thailand and Ford's Wayne factory in Michigan, USA, over 100 global markets are being served.
During the Auto Shanghai show earlier in 2023, Ford announced that the Ranger would be sold in China. As per Ford's truck joint venture with partner Jiangling Motors Group, the Rangers sold in China will be manufactured in China itself and will not be imported from overseas.
