As it currently stands, you can choose from one of 25 different variants when shopping for a Ford Ranger. This has been thinned down from 47 variants in the previous generation but you'll have to choose between three key body styles ranging from single cab to double cab, select a drivetrain, either 4x4 or 4x2. You must choose which engine you want; a 2.0-litre single turbo, 2.0-litre BiTurbo, or a 3.0-litre V6 turbodiesel. Then there are the trims. Do you want a base, an XL, XLT, Wildtrak, or Wildtrak X? Oh wait, then there's the Raptor too... That one has a 3.0-litre turbocharged V6 petrol engine...
