What is the cheapest Suzuki Grand Vitara you can buy?

The entry-level Suzuki Grand Vitara isn't as expensive as you might think and is packed with features.

Buying a Car

If you're seeking reliable, spacious transport for you and your active (or not-so-active) family, the Grand Vitara which was launched earlier this year, has your back. It is one of SA's top-selling compact SUVs at present - and local consumers are loving its go-anywhere attitude and off-road-ready demeanour.

The cheapest Suzuki Grand Vitara you can buy is the 1.5 GL at an affordable R339 900 and you get plenty of bang for your buck.

Find out if it's any good for new drivers, here.

This is the top-spec GLX model with a hybrid drivetrain - but do not fear, the entry-level GL model also comes loaded with kit.

The Suzuki Grand Vitara 1.5 GL is equipped with the following features:

ABS brakes, brake assist, hill-start assist, traction, and stability control, alloy wheels, a full-sized spare wheel, 6 airbags, air-con with climate control, a leather (multi-function) steering wheel, colour touchscreen with Apple Carplay/Android Auto, Bluetooth, cruise control, USB ports, 12V power socket, keyless start, electric windows in the front and rear, electric mirrors, partial cloth/leatherette seats, a front armrest, split and folding rear seats, ISOFIX, daytime running lamps, light-sensing headlamps (LED), headlight leveling, indicators in side mirrors, a rearview camera, and roof rails.

We like the manual 5-speed gearbox very much. Should you opt for the auto, bear in mind that it's only a 4-speed.
