As the largest SUV seller China, Haval has the market wrapped up. They are fast on track to becoming the same here in SA due to offering quality products at an affordable price. We take a look at their current lineup to see which model is the cheapest to buy.

When cheap is not cheap

Haval as a brand has evolved quite a lot in the 16 years that it has been operating in SA. Initially known as GWM and morphing into Haval Motors in 2017 the massive automaker has gone from strength to strength and has had a number of models on offer.

When they became Haval Motors, there was a concerted effort to rearrange their model lineup, dropping passenger vehicles and concentrating on SUVs only. At this stage, models such as the H1 and H2 small crossovers were still available, these being the cheapest Haval SUVs you could buy.

At the beginning

Since then, Haval has further cut its model lineup, and now its model offering starts at the Jolion and ends at the H6. This trimming of the fat, so to speak, means that Haval can concentrate on the vehicles that are most popular, focus on models that customers really want and give them the best service they can.
