Renault's Triber has enjoyed some success since its introduction to the South African market in 2020. Much of the Triber's popularity is attributed to e-Hailing and shuttle services, but for a budget family vehicle, it is a success. The Triber even received a facelift recently with enhancements inside and out. Propelling the Triber is a 1.0-litre non-turbo 3-cylinder petrol engine, sending 52 kW / 96 Nm to the front wheels via a 5-speed manual or AMT (Automated Manual Transmission). All of this starts at R218 999, making it the cheapest 7-seater for sale in South Africa.
