Being the little brother to the Fiesta on which its based, the Figo has always had something of an uphill battle to face. What it does have though, is a very comprehensive manufacturer warranty.
The Ford Figo comes with a 4-year / 120 000 km Warranty and a 4-year / 60 000 km Service Plan

What is covered under Ford SA's warranty?
All parts on the Ford Figo that fail during normal use due to a manufacturing defect in factory-supplied materials or factory workmanship. Defects in manufacturing-supplied material or workmanship are covered for 100% of labour costs and on a pro rata adjustment basis for parts.

What is NOT covered:
- Damage caused by misuse or accidents.
- Damage caused by alteration or modification.
- Normal wear and tear
- Oil changes, tyre rotation, cleaning or polishing,
- Damaged caused by the environment. eg; hail, lightning, industrial fallout
- Tyre wear or damage under normal operation.
- Wiper blades
- Batteries
- Shock absorbers
- Brake pads, rotors and clutches
