The current-generation Mercedes-Benz E-Class, the W213, has been with us for a few years now, having launched in 2016. Despite this, many are still unaware of some of the fantastic, innovative features that the new E-Class presents.

This display solution consists of two 12.3-inch flat-screen displays, one that deals primarily with the COMAND Online infotainment system and one that replaces the traditional gauge cluster. These work together to present you with a variety of information depending on your personal preferences.
You can select from three displays for the instrument cluster, varying from Classic, Sport or Progressive, for a look that best suits your mood and style.

For the audiophiles that appreciate accurate and clear reproduction of their music, the Burmester Audio system offers a powerful, 23-speaker system with a combination of digital and analogue elements to present the best staging and width.
25 amplifier channels and 1450W of power ensures that your music is reproduced as the artist intended, clear and balanced in either stereo or 5.1 surround format with 3D depth. Deep bass and clear highs will have you appreciating your music all over again.
3. Active Multicontour Seats
This is one worth checking out on the dealership floor but be warned, you may never want to leave the inside of the E-Class. The Active Multicontour Seat package will create the type of environment that you'll quickly fall in love with.
18 air chambers in each seat provide an invigorating massage that can stimulate and soothe tired back and leg muscles. You get to choose from 8 different programs to either activate or relax your muscles as you drive – perfect for that long journey or after a tiring day at work.
The Warmth Comfort package not only offers heated seats for cold winter months but warms up the armrests too for a full-body sensation.
4. Remote Parking Pilot
While not a new invention, the Remote Parking Pilot system will allow you to squeeze your E-Class in and out of tight parking spaces with the use of the mobile app. It'a first for the E-Class and the app forgoes the need for expensive, intricate key-operated systems.
With this system and the app, you will be able to safely park your E-Class while standing outside the vehicle. More than just a gimmick, the Remote Parking Pilot system means that you will be able to park your vehicle in a spot that would ordinarily seem too tight, one that would prevent you from opening the door to exit. In the same way, it allows you to extract the car from a tight parking space, be it at the office or when someone has carelessly parked too close to your door.
5. Pre-Safe Impulse Side
This rather ingenious system helps minimise injuries sustained in the event of a side impact. The 360-degree protection system will detect when a side impact is unavoidable and in mere milliseconds, inflate the side bolsters of the seats.
This action helps move the occupants closer to the centre of the vehicle and further away from the danger area. Combined with the other safety systems, this helps minimise the potential for injury and harm.
