The BWM X2 has been on sale for a couple of years now, having been introduced to take on the likes of the Volvo XC40, the Mercedes-Benz GLA and the Audi Q3. Here are 5 accessories that you didn't know you needed to specify on your X2.

Buying a Car

The premium compact crossover segment is big business for automakers these days with all of the major players having several vehicles competing across a range of niches. The X2 forms part of a group of crossovers that don't sport any off-road credentials but offer the raised ride height and styling that many consumers are after.

As with many German vehicles, the list of optional extras available within the X2 range is impressive. We have listed 5 accessories that we think the budding X2 owner may not have considered when specifying their vehicle.

1.ConnectedDrive service package-R4 300

With the increasing integration of our smartphones with our vehicles, a package like this makes things easier. There is also the Real Time Traffic Information, Connected Drive Serviced which includes services such as news and weather. The package also includes the Remote Services function, which allows you to turn your mobile phone into a car key.

4.M Sport seats-R8 100

Although an X2 is not exactly a performance car, these seats look incredible and offer a great deal of support and comfort.

This package is costly, but it provides a raft of semi-autonomous driving functions such as adaptive cruise control, Lane Departure Warning, approach control warning and person warning with city braking, high-beam assist, speed limit information, and traffic jam assistant.
