A twin motor configuration makes the C40 Recharge benefit from all-wheel drive and a buzzing 300 kW and 660 Nm and 444km of range (WLTP) from the 78 kWh lithium-ion battery pack. Cutting through the air is the sleek coupe-styled bodywork but in a crossover form factor. Inside, you're treated to a leather-free interior with high-quality upholstery, and you have the technological luxury of an Android-powered infotainment system. Sound for that system is provided by a Harmon Kardon sound system. This can all be yours, all new, but what if you want a used one?

We only receive one variant of the C40 Recharge being, the 'Ultimate', and prices start from R1 324 000. With that purchase price, you will receive a 5-year /100 000km maintenance plan and an 8-year /160 000km battery warranty. Here's what the monthly repayments can look like.

Used
Looking at the AutoTrader website, there are a few C40 Recharge examples for you to browse through. Pricing tends to range from a lower price to high pricing relative to the new online pricing. It's worth mentioning the C40 Recharge is available online to buy. As far as market value goes, your yardstick should be around the R1 200 000 mark with an average mileage of around the 4000km mark, which, from what we can glean, should be demo car mileage.

Verdict
It wouldn't be a bad idea if you're considering a C40 Recharge to go for a used example, as we have seen there are some good deals when you search AutoTrader. It's worth noting that the car is still quite new, as it was only released in February 2023. As far as common faults go with the used models, globally, there have been software faults which can be rectified, but it's just been limited to that. In any case, since the vehicle is still new, it should still be under warranty, so you need not worry too much. You should give the C40 Recharge a shot.
