The C40 Recharge employs a low and sleek coupe-esque design in an SUV body designed as pure electric only. Despite the connotations one would have over coupe-styled bodies, the C40 is pretty roomy inside, even with the lower rear roofline. The Eco-centric interior boasts that it's free of leather, a first for Volvo. The cabin has a contemporary style with the latest technology, such as the jointly developed Google infotainment system. You'll also find a panoramic sunroof and a Harmon Kardon sound system hooked up to that slick infotainment system. No, the Volvo C40 Recharge is not a 7-seater. The maximum seating capacity is 5. Regarding seating arrangements, the seats in the C40 Recharge are ergonomically designed as you'd expect of Volvo. You can seat 5 adults in the C40, but taller rear occupants may be a bit tight for headroom. In terms of ISOFIX mounting points, you'll find mounting on the front passenger seat and the outer rear seats. It's safe, alright. Speaking of versatility, the rear seats do fold down to increase the boot space.
