The Chery Tiggo Pro 7 is a 5-seater SUV that slots in between the sporty Tiggo Pro 4, which is aimed at younger buyers, and the Tiggo Pro 8 with its family-orientated 7-seater layout. It strikes a balance of elegance, class and sophistication without robbing you blind. It's packed with capable, modern technology and powered by a 1.5-litre turbocharged engine with 108 kW and 280 Nm torque to ensure that no traffic situation is unmanageable.
How much are the repayments on a Tiggo Pro 7?
There are two trim levels available, Distinction and Executive, each with its own merits. Both come in under R500 000 for a brand new vehicle and are sold with a 5-year/150 000 km warranty as well as a 10-year/1 000 000 km warranty on the engine, for the first owner of the vehicle.
R500 000 is still a lot of money and most buyers will opt for financing on their chosen model. In this scenario, the bank or financial institution will purchase the vehicle on your behalf and allow you to pay them back over several months until you've paid it all, at which point the vehicle then becomes yours. They charge a fee for this service, this comes in the form of interest on the amount borrowed.
The typical finance agreement will agree to a term of 72 months with a 10% deposit. While you have the option of a balloon or residual payment, we're not using that in our calculation. We will work on an interest rate of prime plus 2% for an interest rate of 13.25%. The interest rate is determined by your individual credit profile and you would have to check what interest rate you qualify for.
