The Swift still maintains Eurocentric styling that looks great in urban environments by the curbside. Not only this, but for the price, the Swift comes comprehensively with everything you need to make your daily drive easy and, most of all, fun. We have some updates you will be pleased to hear, particularly in the performance department.
How does the Swift perform?
The new Swift uses an all-new engine. The Z12E is a 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder naturally aspirated engine that makes 60kW and 112Nm. A 5-speed manual or CVT transmission sends power to the front wheels. This engine's torque delivery feels stronger compared to the outgoing model. It's also still frugal, only consuming 4.4 L /100km of fuel. Remember, the Swift also has a lightweight shell at 917kg kerb weight. Performance in the Swift is brisk and splendid for daily usage. It performs well, we reckon.
