Is the Toyota Agya a good family car?
Parents of young families will manage just fine with the compact dimensions of the Toyota Agya. Those with older children will start to find that the rear legroom isn't as generous as is needed and the small boot will struggle to accommodate the luggage requirements.
The Agya has ISOFIX anchors on the outer rears as well as child safety locks on the rear doors.

What’s it like to drive?
The Agya offers you great visibility and compact proportions which makes it easy to navigate in town and congested areas. The controls are light and the engine has adequate power to ensure that you stick with traffic. It will start to feel the pinch on severe uphills and when fully loaded up at the Reef.

"...The Agya feels secure and stable at highway speed, but once you push it to the 120 km mark there's plenty of road and wind noise. That said, even with the Southeaster blowing at full force, the Agya felt very planted, and as long as you keep stirring the 5-speed manual gearbox, the Agya won't run out of steam very easily; not at the coast and certainly not when the car isn't fully loaded. The Agya has a sense of sturdiness that is hard to find in this segment."

What is the Toyota Agya like inside?
The Toyota Agya offers generous space for adults up front with ample storage space for drinks, bottles and other items. One cannot expect high levels of luxury here and hard-wearing plastics are used extensively throughout the cabin. While this is sure to age better than softer materials, it leaves the Agya feeling a little cheaper than one would like but these concessions have to be made at the price point.
Cloth upholstery with an attractive pattern and silver trim pieces help elevate the interior ambience and create a more friendly environment.

Style.
The Toyota Agya is a compact hatchback with short overhangs and aggressive styling. Up front you're going to find a raft of pulls and creases that makes the Agya look rather contemporary and unlike anything else on the road. The vibrant colours are offset by the black wheels and dark window surrounds.
At the rear things are a little more muted but a set of attractive taillights extend into the rear decklid and feature chrome and black combinations to offset the red elements. These are further complemented by the faux diffuser element and black trims around the corner reflectors.
