What’s it like to drive?
Reviewer's opinion
"So it looks good, and feels good, but have they lost the plot when it comes to the performance aspect? No, they haven't. They've answered a lot of prayers by increasing the power but at the same time have remained true to their beliefs by not letting it get carried away with too much power - the sport of power that requires additional safety systems."

What does it look like?
What is the GR86 like inside?
"The materials that Toyota used in the first GT86 have held up well over the years but by today's standards would come off as too plastic. This is not the case in the new GR86 and the near-complete redesign of the cabin makes the most of the materials chosen. The scalloped design of the ZN6 makes way for a more horizontal design approach and improved technology."-Chad Lückhoff, AutoTrader
Style
"In a world of homogenous automotive design, there is one car that stands head and shoulders above the rest, the all-new Toyota GR86. Aptly described as an “analogue car for the digital age” and embodying all the qualities that defined its acclaimed GT86 Hachi-Roku predecessor, this new model stays true to that original “Waku Doki” fun-to-drive brief - and that is to offer pure, unadulterated driving pleasure."- Toyota South Africa
